Picking Your Perfect Mala

A guide to picking your perfect Mala!

So, how do you find your perfect mala with all these options available?

Intuition: Allow your intuition to be your compass, pay attention to what calls you or grasps your attention. Trust that the right Mala will call you, weaving its energy seamlessly with yours. Trust that’s the one you need!

What you need (Intention): Take time to understand your intention, ask yourself the purpose, the reason you’re starting this journey or the practice.  What are you seeking? Are you seeking clarity, healing, spiritual growth, etc. You can then pick the Mala based on the properties of crystals. Your intention will serve as a guiding light, leading you to the Mala that resonates most deeply with your soul.

Seven Chakra Colors:  The seven chakras are the energy centers of our bodies. Each chakra is associated with a specific color, symbolizing its unique qualities and attributes. You can pick a Mala based on the chakra that you’re trying to work on or get a Chakra Mala that helps to balance them all.

  • Root Chakra (Muladhara): The color for the first chakra is RED, this Chakra represents your foundation. A mala with red beads can help you ground and stabilize your energy, fostering a feeling of safety and stability.
  • Sacral Chakra (Swadhisthana): The color for the second Chakra is ORANGE. This Chakra is associated with passion and emotional expression. An orange Mala can help ignite your creativity and a fire of inspiration within.
  • Solar Plexus Chakra: (Manipura): The color for the third Chakra is YELLOW. This chakra is associated with personal power and confidence, you can choose a yellow Mala to help boost your self-esteem and to be your authentic self.
  • Heart Chakra (Anahata): The color of the fourth Chakra is GREEN or PINK. This chakra is the center of love, compassion, and connection. Pink or green Mala can help you open your heart Chakra and cultivate deep love and empathy.
  • Throat Chakra (Vishuddha): The color for the fifth Chakra is BLUE. Throat Chakra governs communication and self-expression. You’d need a blue Mala to speak your truth with confidence.
  • Third Eye Chakra (Ajna): The color for the sixth Chakra is INDIGO. It’s associated with intuition and inner wisdom. An Indigo Mala can help you enhance your intuition, guiding you towards your path with clarity and vision.
