Seated upon her lion, Maa Durga represents mastery over fear and the courage to move forward with confidence. The lion symbolizes raw power and resolve, while her calm presence shows control over that energy—strength guided by wisdom. Her raised blessing hand offers reassurance and grace, inviting protection, courage, and clarity into the space it inhabits. In her other hand, she is shown cutting through darkness, a timeless symbol of truth overcoming illusion and light prevailing over uncertainty.

This sculpture is hand carved in India from luminous white marble (not cast). Each detail is intentionally formed, giving the piece a quiet presence that feels both grounding and elevating.
